Privacy Policy

CalmNCalculated ("we", "us") is a small independent shop making browser-based planning dashboards, sold as digital downloads on Etsy. This website is a showcase: you can try live demos here, and buying happens on Etsy. This policy explains what information we handle and how.

Your plans stay on your device

Our apps save the information you enter — budgets, checklists, dates and so on — directly in your own web browser, on your own device. That data is not sent to us, and we have no server that could receive it. We cannot see it. Clearing your browser data removes it, so keep your own copy of anything you'd hate to lose.

Information we collect

• Email address — only if you type one into the sign-up form on our homepage. It's collected by the form tool built into our website host (Netlify), and we use it only to let you know when a new app comes out.
• Basic technical information — like any website, our host keeps standard server logs (such as the page requested, browser type and approximate location) to keep the site running and secure.
• Website analytics — only if you allow it. See below.
• We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
• There's nothing else to collect: this website takes no payments, has no logins or accounts, and hosts no downloads.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which planners people look at, so we know what to build next. It tells us things like how many people visited, which pages they viewed, roughly which country they came from, and whether they arrived from a search engine or a link somewhere else.

It only runs if you say yes. The first time you visit, we ask. If you decline, Google Analytics is never loaded at all and no analytics cookie is set. If you accept, it sets a cookie in your browser so it can tell a returning visit from a new one, and the information above is processed by Google on our behalf — Google's own privacy policy covers what they do with it.

Analytics never sees what you type into an app. Your budgets, checklists and dates stay in your own browser, as described above.

This includes the live demos: if you've said yes, we count that a demo was opened, the same as any other page. What you enter while trying it is not collected — only that the page was viewed.

Changed your mind? Click here to choose again — this clears your saved choice and asks you afresh. Clearing your browser data has the same effect.

How we use your email

Only to tell you when a new app is out. We never sell or rent your email address, and we don't use it for anything else. It stays in the sign-up form's storage at our website host until you ask us to remove it.

Sharing

We only share information with the two services that make the site work — Netlify, which hosts the site and runs the sign-up form, and Google, which provides analytics if you allowed it. We don't sell your data to anyone.

Your choices

The only personal information we hold is an email address you chose to give us. Ask us and we'll tell you what we have, correct it, or delete it — just message us through our Etsy shop. You can allow or refuse analytics at any time using the link in the section above.

Purchases

This website takes no payments. When you buy an app, the purchase happens on Etsy, and Etsy handles your payment and order details under Etsy's own privacy policy. As the seller, we see the order information Etsy shows us, so we can help if something goes wrong with your order.

Children

Our site and products are not directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the latest version.
