The workbook

A real .xlsx: eight tabs — Start here, Dashboard, Budget, Budget categories, Guests, Seating, Vendors and Checklist. 2,303 live formulas, classic ones only, no macros, and nothing locked. Wedding Planner FAQ

Does the Wedding Planner need a subscription?

No. You buy it once on Etsy and it's yours. Nothing renews and there's no account to keep.

What sections does the Wedding Planner have?

12 main sections in the app: Dashboard, Budget, Guests, Vendors, Ceremony, Reception, Day-Of, Checklist, Honeymoon, Moodboard, Bridal Party and Registry. The planner opens empty; Explore with sample data fills all twelve with one sample wedding, mid-plan, and Clear demo takes it out again, asking first.

Where is my data stored?

In your own browser, on your own device. Nothing you type is sent to us — we have no server that could receive it. That also means clearing your browser data clears the app, so keep a backup: Settings → Download backup (.json) saves everything to one file, and Settings → Restore from backup brings it back.

Does it work offline?

Yes. It's a single file that opens in your browser, so once you have it you don't need to be online. A copy of the workbook you bring into Google Sheets needs a connection.

What exactly do I get?

Five files: the Wedding Planner (one HTML file), the workbook (.xlsx, eight tabs), the printable pack (36 pages, A4 and US Letter), the free 52-page book The Calm Wedding Method, and a four-page Quick Start that covers all three editions.

Will it work on my phone?

It's built for a laptop or desktop, and we check it on a laptop. In a narrow window the sections move into a bar along the bottom, with a More button for the rest.

Can I use it on more than one device?

The same file opens anywhere, but nothing syncs between devices — pick one as the plan you keep up to date, and send the backup file when someone else needs the current plan.

Do the three editions sync?

No. Each keeps what you put in it. The planner's backup file carries the planner's data to another computer; the workbook and the pack are ordinary files you keep wherever you like.

Do I need Excel for the workbook?

No. We recalculate the workbook in LibreOffice Calc before it ships, and it came into Google Sheets with File → Import with its tabs, formulas and drop-down lists intact — but not its print layout, so print from the .xlsx. We have not opened it in Excel ourselves; every function it uses is one Excel shares.

How do I get the files after I buy?

It's an instant digital download from Etsy. As soon as Etsy confirms your payment all five files are in your Etsy Purchases, and you can download them again from there any time you're signed in.
