Brain Dump

Empty your head. No categories, no required fields — sort it later (or never).

Tasks

Now holds three things, ever — that's the feature. Everything else waits calmly in Next, Later, or Someday.

Routines

Check items as you go — the week counts days kept, never unbroken chains. Missed a day? You get a 🍃 rest day, on the house.

Help & guide

Everything you need, in plain language. Your day, out of your head.

What came in your download

Five files, one folder. Keep them together wherever you like — and re-download any of them any time from your Etsy purchases.

ADHD-Planner-App.html — The interactive planner. Brain Dump, the four task columns, routines, focus sprints and your wins log, in one file. Start here.

ADHD-Planner-Workbook.xlsx — The spreadsheet edition — your week, your tasks, your routines and your wins in one .xlsx file: classic formulas only, no macros, nothing to install.

ADHD-Planner-Printable-Pack.pdf — The paper edition. A week you can carry, a page for the fridge, a capture sheet for when the laptop is shut.

ADHD-Planner-Quick-Start.pdf — This guide. Keep it with the app file and you will not need it again.

The-Calm-Start-Method.pdf — The free companion book on running a day with a brain that resists being run — the thinking behind how the app is built. Read it any evening; it is not homework.

What the ADHD Planner is (and isn't)

A calm daily dashboard for ADHD brains, living in one file on your own computer. Dump every thought, keep only three things in focus, run distraction-free sprints, and watch small wins add up. It works in your browser, online or offline, and your data never leaves your device.

It isn't a phone reminder app — the ADHD Planner can't send notifications or alarms. It's the calm place your day lives when you sit down to steer it.

The five sections

Five sections along the top, with Help beside them — Help is a screen, not a section, which is why the count is five and the buttons are six. On a narrow screen they move to the bar along the bottom, with the rest under ⋯ More.

Today — your at-a-glance home: the one "Now" thing, progress rings, a day bar, next-up, latest wins and a 7-day momentum chart.

Brain Dump — hit ✦ Brain Dump (or press B) from any screen to empty a thought out of your head. Sort your Brain Dump later with one tap: Now, Next, Later, Someday or Done.

Tasks — four calm columns. Now holds only three tasks, ever — that's the point. Tap the S/M/L chip to size a task; tap a column button to move it; tap the check to finish it (with an Undo if you mis-tap).

Routines — gentle checklists that reset daily. The week counts "days kept" out of the days that have actually happened — never an unbroken chain — and every missed day earns an automatic 🍃 rest day. No shame, no starting over.

Wins — everything you finish lands here automatically, grouped by day. Open it on a hard day; it's the receipts.

Focus mode — a mode, not a section — from the Now card or any Now task, start a 10/15/25-minute (or custom) sprint. The screen clears to one task and a countdown. Pause any time; finishing logs a win.

Keep your data safe

Your data lives in this browser on this device. Because it's tied to this browser, keep a backup: Settings ⚙ → Export backup saves a small file to your downloads (do it every couple of weeks — the app will gently remind you). To restore, or to move to a new computer: Settings → Import. Clearing your browser's site data erases the app's data, so an exported backup is your safety net.

Quick answers

Need internet? No — works fully offline. It makes no outside request at all: its fonts are inside the file. Account or subscription? None, ever. On my phone? Yes, open the file in your phone's browser (designed desktop-first, but adapts). Reminders? No — it's a dashboard, not a notification app. File won't open? Double-click ADHD-Planner-App.html in a normal (non-incognito) browser window. Data gone? Reopen in the same normal (non-incognito) browser you used before, or Import your backup.
